Who this covers

This policy describes how cool esim at coolesim.org handles information when you create an account, top up a balance, and use a data line.

Information we keep

We keep the details needed to run your account:

• The email address and password for your account. The password is stored only as a credential for sign-in.
• Your balance, top-ups, packages, and whether a card has been issued.
• The QR code, activation code, and ICCID for your card, so you can install it.
• Data usage that is drawn from your balance, so spending can stop at zero.

Payments

Card payments are handled by Stripe. cool esim does not store your full card number. Stripe may collect billing details and tax information at checkout. Their handling of that payment data is covered by Stripe.

How it is used

We use this information to create your account, confirm your email, reset your password, add credit, issue and install your card, bill usage, and answer a request you send from that account. We do not sell your personal information.

Sign-in

A sign-in cookie keeps you logged in. It is used to show your own balance and card, and it is cleared when you log out.

How long it stays

Account, balance, and card records stay while the account is open, and for as long as we need them to complete a payment, a refund, or a legal duty. Unused credit stays on the balance until it is used.

Your requests

You can review your email and balance while logged in. You can delete the account from the balance page. That removes the sign-in and switches off the cards on the account. To ask for a copy of your account information or a correction, email [email protected] from the email on your account. Records we must keep for a payment or refund can remain until that duty ends.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above will change with it. The current version is the one published on this page.
